She had looked beautiful that last night, wearing the dress that caught the attention of every man there. Had she not known how beautiful she was? With her dark hair gleaming with russet lights, and her peach tinted skin, and those huge thick-lashed eyes that caught at a man's soul? And her body- she was so slender, with her womanly curves displayed to perfection in the daringly cut gown that only Veleure could have worn so well. The dress had fit her snugly, the neckline plunging in a vee to a tight fitting waist, the tiny puffed sleeves were mere straps off her shoulders, leaving them bare and gleaming like polished bronze. Her hair had been worn in a cluster of curls on her neck, with a knot of flowers tucked into the center, spilling down in long fronds to mingle with the gleaming mahogany coils.
